Aitor tells us that he sees no problem with a hotspot but that with narrower apertures, there's a flare/reflection of the aperture visible. However, for IR work, you'll rarely work with narrow apertures, so this shouldn't be much of a problem. Thanks again to Aitor for providing these samples!
