The Fuji line of fully-featured compact cameras introduced in 2004 are nice cameras indeed. If it weren't for the stupid XD cards, I would recommend them as the best in their segment. Anyway, the IR performance of the E550 was about as expected, but the programmed auto mode on this camera works for IR quite nicely, something that seems to become rare nowadays in consumer cameras.
